OS X Mavericks is now available for Free in the AppStore, so you can download it as many as you want on all your macs, to make a Mavericks USB Installer Drive with a much easier way, I have a simple command that make it for you in just one step

Let's go

Requirements : Download Mac OSX Mavericks from the app store it's free
External Drive at least 8Gb or greater, external or thunderbolt hard drives work too

after connecting you external drive launch terminal from /Applications/Utilities/ or you can launch it from Spotlight.

and enter the following command:
sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app --nointeraction
You will need to replace “Untitled” in the volume path with the name of your external drive that you want to turn into the installer disk

Enter your mac administrator password, and wait until it's finished

and that is your mavericks drive installer

so after that you can boot up from external usb drive
